Knowing Peace

What would you feel when you wake up and find out that the very thing you love has been taken away from you or has gone missing? How would you react? Devastated.

Well, I know I would be. All of us are destined to experience pain and agony a couple of times in our lives. Didn’t get into your dream job? Or failed an exam that meant the world to you? Or maybe you’ve even disappointed your loved ones by making ‘stupid’ decisions? Knowing peace has never been our forte. As human beings, we are literally on the path of wreckage and despair. But for once, there is hope for you and me. A hope that nobody ever thought of during the days when rides were still carriages and jeans were ball gowns. A hope for peace.

Here are three things you should remember to know the true face of your peace.

Let it Go

Let go of all the things that keep you down. A broken heart? Yeah sure. It would help if you learned to let go to be free of the chains that tie you to the corner of the room, becoming a spectator of everything happening in other people’s lives instead of living your own.

Let it Be

Taking a broken heart into account, you must know how to Let it Be broken despite the pain, the struggles, and the embarrassment. No one deserves to be deprived of their feelings. However, you need to know that you are human, and letting yourself feel will aid you in realizing your peace.

Let it Grow

Growth happens with maturity, and maturity happens with acceptance. Accept that you need to Let it go and let it be in order to accept and move on with your life.

You shall find the peace you so rightfully deserve with this trifecta in life. No buts, no ifs, go on and live.

“Life is a journey, not a destination.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson.
